As part of our service development at Chapters we are pleased to be able to offer one-to-one face-to-face counselling in the comfort of your own home or office via Skype video. Our aim is to make counselling accessible to everyone who wishes to utilise the services of a professional counsellor in a way that works for them.
There are many advantages to this way of working:
You get to choose who you talk to regardless of where you live, distance is not a factor in this type of counselling
You can continue to have your counselling sessions with your counsellor even if you move out of the area or need to work away for any length of time
You get to choose where you are located for the duration of your session in the comfort of your own home or office
There may also be an increased sense of privacy without physically attending to meet with your counsellor. Some clients prefer actual meetings but we do understand that you may feel more comfortable talking to a counsellor who does not have any connections with your local area.
Physical ability/disbility, poor mobility or other physical reasons that may make attending counselling difficult are no longer barriers
Whilst having all of the above advantages you are still able to have real contact with your counsellor, see them and share a relationship with them.
Sessions will last for approximately 50 minutes and fees are are payable in advance
Fees can be paid by paypal or you are welcome to phone first to pay by credit or debit card.
Session fees - £35-00
Chapters' counsellors abide by the BACP's Ethical Framework for Good Practice in Counselling & Psychotherapy and receive regular clinical supervision to ensure that high standards of professional care is maintained.
Your session will still be confidential, no-one will be able to see or hear you. We take your confidentiality seriously and make every effort to protect you regardless of how we communicate.
