At Chapters we are able to deliver all levels of counselling training from the first rung of the ladder which is the Level 2 Certificate in Counselling Skills, on to the Level 3 Certificate in Counselling Studies and then the Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling. we are also an approved centre for delivering the Level 6 Certificate in Therapeutic Counselling Supervision for those who wish to become qualified to offer clinical supervision to other practising counsellors.
This allows you to start at the very beginning of the training route and progress all the way through to becoming a professionally qualified counsellor and supervisor. We are one of very few centres in the North East of England that offer fully accredited CPCAB qualifications. We are developing an excellent reputation with our private students, our business customers and the awarding body that have provided excellent feedback on our centre, staff and courses.
Please use the tabs from the Counselling Training tab on the left to find out about the different courses, including start dates and fees.
The awarding body for the courses is the CPCAB (Counselling & Psychotherapy Central Awarding Body) who are the only awarding body run by counsellors for counsellors. It offers a range of excellent qualifications and the CPCAB is a nationally recognised awarding body within the counselling world.
As we are a private training organisation we have the ability to deliver the courses without the restraints that other providers may face. Therefore an interesting, well informed, creative and exciting experience is on the cards. We have a permanent base to work from that provides an ideal environment for counselling training. No sharing of classrooms, no distractions from the training, no lack of resources or fear of trying something new. We have the freedom to try new and exciting ways of working as well as sticking with the tried and tested methods when appropriate!
Being a private organisation also means that there is no funding attached to this qualification like there is with other establishments so there are no hidden financial gains to be had by Chapters. Instead, students pay for their own tuition and receive the quality teaching and input that they deserve on these courses. You will benefit from dedicated staff, ongoing support, a wide range of teaching methods and learning resources that only private training organisations can offer. If anyone would like to come and have a look around before embarking on a programme then please feel free to get in touch and make an appointment. We welcome the inquisitive and nosey!
Fees can be paid in instalments to assist in managing finances, however please note that any agreements must be agreed in writing with Chapters. We will always endeavour to be of assistance.
If you would like to join us for any of the counselling courses please contact us for an application form.
