Counselling is offered to individuals on a private basis via referrals from Doctors, nurses, social workers or other health care professionals. Clients are also welcome to refer themselves for private counselling. It may be that your GP has recommended counselling but the waiting list is too long. Please feel free to contact us and we can arrange to see you as soon as you wish.

Through one-to-one individual counselling you will have the opportunity to learn more about yourself through exploring your current feelings about, and understanding of, whatever is going on in your life. At different times in our lives we all encounter difficult or painful experiences which we need to talk through with someone else. Family and friends can often be very supportive but there are times when you may not want to talk to someone close to you as they are also involved in the issue or you may not want to burden them with your feelings. Counselling can be a very rewarding and life changing experience for people at these times, the benefits are different for different people, but the work together is a very special and privileged journey. We work in a Person-Centred way, so our clients unique needs are always at the heart of our work.
